Dutch Police fantastic in Amsterdam.Idiot MCFC fan threw a bottle over the bridge at #ajax fans. Now Ajax fans have had to go :-( #theircity
What an absolute fucking dick, that's how it starts see. Before you know it innocents will be copping for it from the Ajax fans and all because one dickhead couldn't handle his beer.

This seems to be when the bottle got thrown. About 30 secs in. Couldn't tell from this who threw what first, but plenty from either side. Bit weird coz earlier videos show Blues on both sides of the canal.

they were both fucking at it by the looks of it.

Completely embarrassing night on and off the pitch.

Some fans need to learn how to handle a bit of booze.

This.

No not this.
We were shit on the pitch.
But all the blues out there that I saw were a credit to the club.
On Tuesday night the police officers were brilliant with us, one even said how brilliant our fans were and how friendly we were.
Wednesday, the Ajax fans were out everywhere and a lot of them were looking for it.
A group of them tearing a city flag down from one of the canal bridges.

Was talking to some Ajax fans at The Old Sailor before the game, they said the fans across the canal & the pub at the top of that street that was all Ajax were full of fans that are banned from going to the games and just go down that street looking for trouble every game.

There was always the likelyhood of a bit of trouble , especially on the Wednesday , some Ajax have been well documented in the past as being hooligans ....... and it won't stop there , watch the crew they bring to Manchester city centre for the return , they thought nothing of having a go at rags last season !

I wouldn't say so off the pitch, I somehow managed to be on the piss in the centre all day and night and managed to avoid any trouble or confrontation and we even had a sing off with a big group of Ajax fans on the metro to the station.

There were just a couple of isolated incidents in small pockets, it wasn't running battles all over the shop.

Having said that, our dear leader looks as though he received a fractured knuckle from the coppers but he probably deserved it.

there were a few 'skirmishes' along the canal and on the bridges where Ric had been.
when I saw him on the bridge it 'didn't feel right' so me and the mrs left to get a drink near the church
about an hour or so later it kicked off along the canal with the added bonus of charging horses
had to dive out of the way and I don't like the fuckers to start off with

went back to the small pub near the church with a lad who was then cut off from his dad because the police wouldn't let anyone move

tbf the worst trouble I had was getting into the stadium
four fucking turnstiles for 2600 fans was criminal and we were crushed for about three quarters of an hour getting through

No such trouble for and Mikey after Danamy sorted us with some plush corporate seats so I sat watching the game with a nice beer in hand. We had a red carpeted entrance, I have never felt so under dressed.

Danamy's mate got koshed on the back of the head outside the old sailor and had a 3" split that he should have really taken to get stitched. It was still bleeding when we saw him the in red light district about midnight.
