Every Journey is a sequence of steps. Too many believe we can be no1 without any effort, pain, frustration, disappointment. They are wrong. Above anything else it will take determination and steadfastness. That means looking further than todays quick fix of adrenalin and thinking of the long term goal.
I'm really disappointed at the lack of moral fibre demonstrated by many of our so called fans. We appear to have been invaded by a gang of cowardly self centred morons who don't realise just how ridiculous abusing a manager who has been in post for 2 months is.
This is a manager who has won major honours at a young age. A manager who constantly bettered the current Chelsea manager when the last worked in the same league. A manager who so far has a better points average than our previous manager.
The shortsightedness of some so called supporters is frankly embarrassing. I have to wonder exactly what it is they claim to support?

When you live in an Alps villa next to David Bowie and Lewis Hamilton (rather than sitting or standing through all the recent shite including 3 x stoke matches) it is easier to be philosphical about things.

I didn't get here by screaming like a little child every time something didn't quite work out how I wanted it to.

the problem is that it isn't 30 idiots. This seems to be an attitude growing and growing amongst our fans.. and it's absolutely ridiculous. I'm not going to try to convince anyone that Mancini is playing scintillating football right now, but i really think we're making forward steps. Starting off with making us a team that's difficult to beat.

the feeling in the stadium seems more sour with every passing week. And if you're talking about the owner being disappointed in us, i can see why. There's one thing that strikes me about City fans at the moment, in the ground and elsewhere.. the sheer ingratitude we display. Take for instance the Liverpool game - a match where 2 years ago we'd have zero chance, but here we were the better side and with a bit more from the forward players we could have won it. So you'd think the fans would be happy, would show the team a biit of gratitude? By the time the final whistle went (ignoring the boos for the referee, though that didn't look too good either on face value) the ground was half empty. It actually made me angry to look down at the players walking around an empty stadium, you could imagine them thinking "what are we even bothering for". When big Nige walked up to our stand to clap and there were maybe half a dozen people clapping back. When i looked at the opposite stand there were half a dozen fans clapping back. And i just thought "this is the thanks we give them". Everyone else was pointed at the exit, not bothering to glance down at the people who'd just fought for them for 90 minutes

it's not an isolated incident, but it shows something very clear to me. City fans want it all, they want the pplayers to give their all, and then when they give it we don't even say thanks. And for an owner who wants to be loved and adored by the fans, wants to be a hero, you can understand why he might think he's fighting a losing battle

Good post.

Brilliant post. Couldn't say better myself but I will add.

Quality owners, quality management and quality players. All we need now is more quality fans to get behind this revolution.

The same people moaning about nearly everything are probably those having a bad time at home or at work. Grow up we all have it now and again! There's been years of upheavle, get out of the habit, stop trying to make us a laughing stock divvies. Look in the mirror and ask yourself "Am I helping the club be better?" If the answers is no then sort it. If you can't sort it then go and support a smaller club where you'll fit in just fine.

Anyone who complains too much and leaves early doesn't have the right to be there. Is it so hard to stay on past the final whistle? If it is then don't bother taking a seat in the ground in the first place we're better off without you to start with. For the time that game is being played the team needs support right through to the final whistle. If we aren't finishing teams off at the end of games and your seat in the ground is empty blame yourself. You are to blame!

The season we are having is the best for years. Show some gratitude and stop being fed by the muppets in the media.

Bobby Manc knows football better than 99% of the people coming on here. Self included.

I would hace snapped someones hand off for the position we are in at the start of the season. We have chance for 3rd or 4th spot!!!!!!! First major semi since '81 and only dumped out in last minute of the game away at Premier League Champions (er hum - rags).

Build a future.

Kippax St Stand RIP. Long live MCFC.

The spirit of the Kippax is what's needed. This type of moaning crap wouldn't be going on there for too long while we are in this position. Someone would be getting hosipitalized. The team needs a 12th man, give it to them.

P.S. Many of the fans at Stoke last night were brilliant when supporting the club and team they love. Keep up the good work lads. We can weed out the cancers and have a long, happy future!

Quality?

Everything is of quality whether good or poor.

The Kippax contained the biggest set of bitches I have ever heard. David White used to get dog's abuse of many when he was excellent for us.

The past was no better.

Us? We aren't with you. Go support another club if you don't already.

:) Agreed.

I have faith in the players, the management, and the owners. They are all great people and there are a lot of ignorant supporters out there. All we can do is keep sending our message out and supporting our boys louder than ever.

CTID.
