I was on Kirkway, opposite Brian Kidd
Me and my lovely wife got married 41 years ago today at St. Nicholas, Kingsway, Burnage. (18/04/81).
The world has changed so much in those 41years, but we have managed to stick together through all those changes.
We have had our ups and downs,just like most couples do.
And 3 daughters and 4 grandsons on ,we are still happy in each other's company.
We are both in reasonably good health,so we are hoping to get to our golden anniversary in 9 years time.
Any other FOCs on Bluemoon with similar long marriages like us ??

I went to Queen Elizabeth High School (no grammar for me!) 68-73I went to Alkrington Moss Primary School 1963 -67.
Then Queen Elizabeth's Grammar 1967 - 72.
My Dad still lives just behind Mainway shops (He's 95'years old).
I know where Brian Kidd's house was.
When he played for United we used to shout abuse outside his house.
When he played for City we used to kneel on the pavement and hero worship his house.
