Today is my 41st wedding anniversary

Congratulations to you and your other half manclad, it was 38 years for us last Thursday, 14th, it was fa cup semi final weekend, wins for Everton & Watford, City beat Cardiff 3-1.
Just don't ask me what happened last week though!!
Thanks for the message, much appreciated.
It was the semi- final vs Ipswich at Villa Park just before our wedding day.
Another fantastic day out. ( Without the wife on that day).

41 years is a hell of a run these days. Congratulations.

It'll be 28 years for me this year, and just a handful of proper arguments in that time (and a scar on my left wrist - but that's another story ;-).

Thanks for the message Trev.
You're not doing too bad yourselves at 28 years.
It's well over a quarter of a century.

I became good friends with Chris and Graham and I went with them and Baz to live in Rotterdam in 1977.
I didn't like it there so came back home, and eventually Chris and Baz came back home.
I think Graham married a dutch girl and still lives in Holland.
( Chris and Graham were both reds ,but Chris used to like coming to City away matches with us for a good booze up and maybe a bit of scrapping).
Al was indeed a joiner and also another City fan. I remember going to Stoke City away with him in 1977 and his car broke down on the way home, and I somehow managed to fix it for him.
The double glazing company he ran with Dave eventually went bust and I have no idea what they do now.
Tell me some of the girls that you remember from school and I will let you know if I remember them.

Don’t you know what bouffant means?
C'était à la mode lorsqu'il était couplé avec un tach porno!

After manipulating my hair into perm curlers and applying A magic potion they moved me to the front of their shop window dropping a large dome like apparatus over my head like a clip out of Joe 90. People walking past were pointing so I buried my head in a copy of Womans Own.

I remember running for the bus with my head tighter than a ducks arse and the remenants of the pungent amonia stinging like a bad man. The shop owner said that over the course of a few days or a week it would naturally loosen advising the regular use of my new afro comb. Kevin Keegen perms were all Le Rage back then and these days I'd sell my soul for one.

No perms here.
It was a regular visit to The Village Barbers on Bridge Street, Manchester, much frequented by Buzzer, next door to the George Best Edwardian boutique for a wash, trim to just off the shoulders and a lot of back combing in the blow and dry.
