Today is my 41st wedding anniversary

Congrats Manclad. 39 years for me. Not wanting to sound soppy but the best thing I ever did was marrying Mrs Superwatsonwatson. It edges deciding to be a City fan. And I’ve been married to City for a lot longer than 39 years.

I always tell the wife ( on the rare occasion that we argue) that I had been a City fan for about 13 years before she came along, so City will always be the FIRST love of my life.
Indeed I sing a song to that effect at almost every home game I go to.

The last time she came to a City match with me was the opening game at The Etihad in August 2003 ( vs Barcelona).
And our anniversary was Monday just gone( Easter Monday) ,so we won't out for a few drinks then!!
