Interesting comment from Ancelotti this morning - feels that CFC need to have five wins under their belts before they play us!
Do you have a link to that mate or where you read it? Thanks

It was in today's Telegraph.

Ancellotti seems to go out to win games. Mancini seems to go out to not lose games. Hopefully this will change soon.

strange , when they were on the bench of Inter and ACmilan mancini was the winner , even in the year ACmilan won CL.....

Also the winner at Stamford Bridge last season!

Can see Chelsea staying top all season esp with their goal difference. They'll be difficult to catch and play Blackpool at home soon... so the game at Eastlands in a few weeks is going to be interesting and a big test.

Also what's the odds on Wigan having a new manager just in time for their game with us on Sept 18th...?

Also it's such a shame that Everton are making a bad start, again... Not.

No reason we can't do this to clubs if we play with width and an attacking mentality. Surely Bobby won't play Nige / Yaya / Barry against a team like Wigan?

Were they like this at AC and Inter?

-- Sat Aug 21, 2010 7:34 pm --

Cheers mate, I'll look it up. Sounds interesting

They are ruthless with the bad teams but Wigan and West Brom are hardly bench marks to say 'they are going to piss the league' if they batter City (their first difficult game in the prem) or someone like Arsenal, Spurs and Villa this season then that is more reasonable. They seem to have more conviction once they go three up and don't ease off.

This...^^^

As usual, Chelsea, Arsenal and the Rags will be the teams to beat this season.

Chelsea are amazing :\

True. Chelsea were awesome.

Did anybody notice the move for the last Goal ?
Terry and the keeper playing keep ball whilst the Wigan forwards wouldn't pressure; - then a Wigan player from the right of midfield breaks rank in annoyance and leaves Cashley in acres of space and Wigan stretched. Seconds later number six.

We have just seen the side that will finish the season as runners up to us.

Hehe, made me laugh anyway :)

Apparently Chelsea only had 7 shots on target and less possesion than Wigan. Chelsea are just a machine and like all machines, they can break down.
