Todays Officials

The officials did not cost us 3 points but they were feckin abysmal. Ref did not control the game and was like a rabbit in the headlights. Liners too. Wrong decision followed by wrong decision. Usually in their favour.

Unbelievable..... the M.E.N have give the ref an 8 out of 10.....

what fucking game was he watching????

Does the MUEN 'journalist' actually watch the game?
I had to double-take when I saw that. The referee was truly dire. No penalty, disallowed goal, handballs, and just generally didn't give us anything.

Not making excuses for a poor performance, however I thought the standard of the officials was abysmal, The assistant on the east stand was terrible at least twice he flagged for offside and he wasn't even level with play, I thought Kamara was yards offisde in the first half and fortunately he oven ran the ball to given. I thought at one point the ref totally lost, it was a corner to us he signalled a dead ball and then changed his mind. He really was poor.

Kamara couldn't believe that he'd not been flagged,it was only shock that made him overrun the ball.

There was one point where we had an effort tipped round the post by their keeper, the ref signalled for a corner (obviously), yet the linesman was signalling for offside against Adebayor. This despite the fact that he never even went near the ball. All he did was run over to it once it had gone out of play to kick it down to the corner flag. It was laughable. It might sound a bit harsh, but they all need to be shot. It's for the best.

Made me laugh with Kamara in the first half that the reason he lost control of the ball was that not only did he check whether the flag went up but he had to look a second time!

Also saw the Duff incident when he near enough caught the ball. They broke away and nearly scored.

I was amazed the ref also failed to deal with the incident following their player faking injury when SWP broke away. Played to the whistle yet despite SWP being attacked by the remaining 10 fulham players chose to run to the other end to "check on the Fulham player" who got straight up, ran back and cleared the subsequent corner.
