it was mentioned in the news article on BBC last night that mulitiple shootings involving 4 or more people happened 3 times on saturday 4 times friday and 28 times last month in america!! it seems we only here of them when lots are killed.

Its at that point now that its not even news. As tragic as these events are, if america don't have the appetite to change and learn from these types of events then why should it even be news and why should we even really care? Its just another way lots of americans die.

The Onion publish the same article every time a mass shooting happens in the US. The only thing that changes is the detail about the number of dead/location. No idea how many times it has been published to date.

Believe it or not there are millions of people who want gun ownership to be much harder, there again there are millions who dont.
One thing is for sure, its never gonna change, guns are a big part of the fabric of American society and that will never change, so we have to accept that these mass shootings will always happen and now its just a question of waiting for the next one.
We just have to let the Americans get on with it, its their country and they love their guns.
