Today's shooting in America thread

I read that if the numbers killed is 4 or less then no one bats an eyelid, as that is considered a normally reasonable number for a ususal shooting, surely that cannot be the case.

The mind boggles how any shooting can be seen as "wasn't as bad"

I wonder how long it will be that they up the 'wasn't as bad' number - 7? 8? 9? 10?.
Just to lower the 'mass shooting' figure.

Someine in them tweets shared this site

Quite shocking really that many advocate of gun ownership won't accept the number of mass shootings exist if fatalities are low

This is just a screen shot from that site, numbers are sad to see

I presume that archive is only for 4+ injured/killed.
Then When you think about adding in all the incidents of 1-3 injured/killed…
Let alone all the ‘lucky’ incidents when non-one was hurt…

The I posted are the mass shootings as defined (4 and above) but the site has data on all other reported gun crime and even accidental deaths of suicide by fire arms.

The page documening any shooting in the last 72 hrs has 8 pages to get through

Quite an eye ooener how much gun related incidents there are yet there are so many who refuse to see guns as a problem
