Togo quit ACN. Team at Airport (Ade coming home).

the angolan football authorities should make it clear that ALL teams has to fly into angola and travel by road cross-country can cause their life.

Obviously not the ideal scenario to get Ade back home but Toga' s misfornunate is definatly to our benefit. I'm sure that Mancini will be glad to have him back in the sqaud.

I dont think this is correct, if you here interviews from their manager and players they are saying they wont play and want the whole thing called off their group to be canceled at the very least.

The players dont want to play this much is clear, cant see how they can participate.

This is just Angola trying to talk it up and keep it going fair play, Togo wont play look at what the players and coach are saying. Two of their players have been critically injured and will probably never play again, 3 people are dead seriously I cant see anyway they can agree to play after whats happened and got to say I fully agree with them.

It's possible they've changed their minds since then though. I'd expect them to come back but as I said yesterday I can really see the reason why they would at least think about it, not letting the rebels win, not killing their spirits, playing for the memory of the killed players etc. I still don't expect them to play but I sort of understand it if they themselves made that decision.

There is now some confusion over whether Togo will play in the Africa Cup of Nations. The team earlier announced they had pulled out following yesterday's horrific attack, but an Angolan government source is now saying that they have been persuaded to stay. More on that if and when we hear anything.

THis is just Angola trying to keep things going, no further statement from Togo, cant see them playing TBH. It should never been held there at the end of the day.
