Was just going to say that, when you watch it on the replay his legs start tying up with 20m to go.Our last runner looked very tight, the Italian was much more fluid.

Our last changeover was okay but Italy just got a perfect one. I think that was the difference in the end. Looking back, with the US and Jamaica usually well clear, you have to think it's a position gained not one lost.Gutted for him there, that will haunt him. Everyone absolutely delighted with silver apart from him who thinks he let them down. Italy on fire in these olympics.

There seem to be a lot more winners coming from those outside lanes to me. Could just be the races I saw though.Italy suddenly dominate in mens sprinting. Uummm, get those samples tested.

It's got to be the worst GB Men's athletics team ever
Been a bit of a shambles:It's got to be the worst GB Men's athletics team ever
- No top class between 100m-800m.
- 1 competitive field athlete.
- Nobody to replace Mo.
Our 1500m looks promising tomorrow, 3 men in the final, all with good runs but gold probably unlikely.
