It’s a proper random event that isn’t it. No doubt roots in something historic, but a combination or running, swimming, shooting, horses and fencing is a random skill set.

Would watch that if it was on telly on a Saturday evening. Instead we get Ant and Dec ... C'mon telly bosses.
 
They're dropping like flies in this 10,000m race, looks fairly fast in harsh conditions though, so not surprising.
 
Brilliant run from Sifan Hassan, never seen her in as much pain but she's done some running this week. 5000m gold, 10000m gold and 1500m bronze. Ridiculous.
 
Doubt I've watched 20 minutes of it. And I used to enjoy it, particularly the second week when the athletics kicked in. Can't really explain why I haven't bothered, though the lack of fans doesn't help. Remember that super saturday in 2012? The atmosphere in that stadium was phenomenal, and definitely added to the overall event.
