Impressive but the Tokyo skytree is third tallest structure.

Think it’s probably the tallest free standing tower without occupants. Just guessing.

Well it used to be the case that the tallest structure was always some sort of radio mast, so that's why there was a separate category for buildings and other types of tower. But now the tallest building and tallest structure are the same thing.
