Tolmie's Hairdoos'-Brother

Thank you for your kind wishes.

It is our other brother Colin who suffered the heart attack not those saying it is Zin (as known on here)

He was saved and in an ambulance and on the operating table at the Infirmary before the game had even finished, with two stents fitted.

Anywhere else, and very unlikely he would have made it.
Delighted to read this, please relay our thoughts to him

All the best to Colin @tolmie's hairdoo

My thoughts are with you mate, wishing your bro a speedy recovery.

They can do amazing things these days. I woke up with a heart attack one weekend morning in the mountains here, had to drive myself for 75 minutes to a respectable hospital in the city. Within an hour of getting there, they had called the surgeon from home and fitted a stent through my upper leg, strangely enough. Was weird watching it all on the same screen as the surgeon. Lost 30% of my heart muscle, still I now have a nice video of the whole thing.

The good news was that I could drive through all the red lights for the first time (with a good reason at least). The bad news is there is no way back from the next one.

You must know all this, but tell him never to miss his medication, watch what he eats and get whatever exercise he can. It's no age to have a life-changing event but there's no reason he can't last as long as the rest of us.

Best wishes to you all.

That's great news.

Get well soon, Col (from another Col!)

Really pleased to hear that outcome mate. Like you say, pretty much any other location and it may have been very different.

Wishing him a speedy recovery x

Very relieved to hear your brother is ok mate. Hope he is soon on the mend. Must have been a hugely worrying time for you all.

All the best to you and your family.
