Tolmie's Hairdoos'-Brother

Thank you for your kind wishes.

It is our other brother Colin who suffered the heart attack not those saying it is Zin (as known on here)

He was saved and in an ambulance and on the operating table at the Infirmary before the game had even finished, with two stents fitted.

Anywhere else, and very unlikely he would have made it.
That's great news Tolmie, I've posted on here before my Dad was 53 when he had a heart attack, he was going to his weekly squash game and had a pain in his chest, my Mum just told him not to go, if he had his Surgeon who operated on him said he'd have died.

For encouragement for your brother my Dad then lived until he was 89 but did everything the Doctor told him to.

I've also posted on here about the "Silent Killer", high blood pressure, I had no idea mine was so high until I had a check up at my new Doctors, it was around 211/110 (can't remember the exact readings). I've been placed on a variety of medications and finally found a suitable combination, BP now normal. I bought a BP machine of Amazon, £20, worth just checking every now and again. Almost guaranteed the there's posters on here who have no idea they're at risk but it's a dangerous condition.

All the best to your brother, hope he makes a full recovery.

“The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated (: thanks @blueinsa

He’s on the mend, thankfully, and huge appreciation to those who literally saved his life in the stadium, emergency services already had my unwavering support and this only reinforces it….

Now for the elephant in the room; those suffering behind closed doors, too proud to reach out through the darkness that consumes them, remember those you impact also in that journey; no time for self loathing, pick your arse up out of the gutter and begin to live; we are here but once, live every minute before its gone and appreciate family and loved ones….

Thanks for the well wishes but I’ll never sugarcoat anything, the tough part for him starts now and I’ll be alongside him dragging him up the mountain”

Hope you feel much better soon Tolmie’s brother “Colin” and make a good recovery Xx, thanks to the medical team that did such a great job it’s nice to know they are there if any of us need help.”
