Great to see him get on the pitch. He was happy to pass the ball about rather than look to show off as many would be tempted to on debut.

I have a feeling that the 5 sub rule continuing and the ridiculous schedule next season will be great for Doyle, he will come through from debut to squad player getting regular games much quicker than Foden did. Helps that he is 2 years older than Phil was as well.

He was definitely playing it safe, which is probably sensible on his debut. A couple of good forward runs though.

Didn't look out of place playing with the senior players, nice to see him Phil and David all walking off together, for them to have trained with David will have done them the world of good.
