Like with palmer and Mcatee I think all he needs is regular game time at the top level. It’s pretty much impossible at city right now.

Id never rule out him coming back here one day. Might not be the best example in some ways, but Kalvin Phillips joined us when 27. Tommy could go away for 4 years, continue to develop and look a good squad option before that age. Yes I doubt it, and I'd only want him here if he could contribute more than Phillips has, but you never know.
