Got to make is debut this season the lad is talented enough.
It will be difficult to do it this year as we have so many top midfielders. Even with rotation in the CC he may not even get a bench spot.

Yeah, I certainly hope so. It would be great to see him, Manu Garcia and Eric Garcia getting some minutes. Frimpong and Harewood-Bellis too.
None of the academy midfielders will get minutes this season because this is David's last season.
The lot of them are also still very young, many of them played U23 last season even though they were playing an age group up, this season I think its appropriate for them to play a full U23 season but now a year more experienced and physically developed.
Once they're closer to 19 years of age then I think we can consider them having a bit part in our team like Phil Foden had last season.

Doyle has got loads of potential, think we'll probably see a fair bit of him in these pre-season games, maybe the odd appearance on the bench this year for cup games - think the following season we'll hopefully see a lot more of him.

Realistically at 17,i think he's still 12 months away in terms of all round development,however....the kid has heart and a burning desire,so that may just propel him sooner than expected.
On todays showing,i'm right.
