I think it's better to keep him around the first team for the remainder of this season and have him play EDS every game this season.
Then next season I'd give him slightly more responsibility/minutes, basically same approach to Foden, and see how he carries on, if he makes good of those minutes and we see improvement then I'd keep him, if not, then maybe a loan.
Kdb and Gundogan are about 30, we need to start thinking about their future replacements, and if the club believes Doyle is that, then loaning is the wrong route.
