Looked very good, composed on the ball and made lots of good decisions. He’ll learn from that shot but that’s why he’s getting game time when we’re cruising. Great talent!!
Watch it again mate, Foden is there, he squares it, Foden scores. But there isn't a simple pass before he shoots.
And I'm not "blaming" Foden for Doyle taking a shot. The fuck
Fuckin hell. He played really well and made one mistake!!!! What is up with folk on here????
I think it says a lot about his personality and confidence in his own ability that he takes the shot on. Too many youngsters come in and look like they don’t feel they belong there. Everything they do is simple, afraid to lose the ball etc. You’ve got to express yourself and show what you can do, otherwise you’re pissing in the wind trying to ever get into this side.People like to moan. Tbh, Doyle is known as a very selfless player, hence why he captains sides. I think he got the judgement wrong and felt he couldn't get to Foden personally so took a shot on. Wrong call, but it's not a big deal.
He was good today though! Clearly a very intelligent footballer and he looks better each time he steps on the pitch.
I think "frustrated" rather than annoyed, all part of his education, and I'm sure he will have a good session with Pep telling him why, good for the lad imho, because he'll get an extra lesson. It was a poor decision that has clearly annoyed the manager.
Let's hope nobody does a Saliba and records it.Quite a good performance, however I reckon he's going to get a right fucking when he gets into the changing room : )
