He does & is a very skilled & clever player, but if he signed for the present City squad, with two fairly neutral fullbacks who don't step into midfield like Bayern or Real's do, then Gundogan, we need one more in midfield to be the minder for Kroos, presumably Fernandinho, that leaves 3 places for people who win us the title or Champions League by actually creating & scoring goals. If one of them is Silva, that leaves DeBruyne & Aguero to score about 90 goals.

If he plays a formation similar to Bayern, in as much as he plays one formation , then he had two central midfielders behind Muller and a front 3. I see DeBruyne or Silva in the Muller role with combinations of 2 central midfielders behind them. It does require more from full backs and centre backs but I don't expect us to be starting with the fullbacks, and centre backs we have now.

Obviously a good player but saw him live last year and he was naff. Ball kept bouncing off him like he had springs on his shins. If the rumours are true, I'm not sure where it leaves Dinho. One of the midfield 3 will need to a be a goal threat and with Gundogan in and Kroos maybe following, we could probably do with a goal scorer in there as well.
