In light of the anger shown to him on the Yaya thread I viewed the Germany v France match as a "trial" to see who would be the best fit to replace Yaya between this guy and Pogba. I was distinctly unimpressed with both of them. I had already dismissed Vidal who I thought was great but a bit more Roy Keane than our Yaya. As for the Croatian who Barca have spent a fortune on from Seville (forgot his name - all I see is Neil McNab.

I am not stupid though and I am glad he hasn't been signed by United. A great player and he will do well but no better than his international team mate Khedira who he is most likely going to replace.
