Toni Kroos

Easily the best all-round passer of a football in the last decade. Still has plenty to offer but would be a totally unneccessary signing unless someone from our midfield unexpectedly moved on.
 
Has announced his retirement from the game. Calling it a day after Euro '24, meaning his last club game will be the CL final against Borussia Dortmund in Wembley in just over a week. 34 years old now. At a push, he may have got one more year playing at an elite level, but I guess he feels that it's the right time to bow out. Especially with the summer's tournament being played in his home country. His honours list is ridiculous....



A fantastic player, it would have been fascinating to see what he could have done in our side.
 
Felt he could have gone on longer, he was always slow as molasses. No shame in going out at the top though, had a great career and could finish it with the one trophy he's missing.
