It's like £200mDoes Kroos have a release clause? If he does and we can persuade him we wouldn't need Real's agreement.

If we don't get Kroos who are the possible alternatives ?
You have to throw in the Mourinho factor too. He ain't no wee Davy or vangallardyce, he's held in high esteem and regardless of his attitude and moaning players will want to play for him just as players want to play for Pep. But the important player in all this is Pogba's agent, this fucker could sell oil to the Arabs, he's obviously selling himself and pogba very well.as the figures that are reported are mad.Nah, I agree really. He hasn't done enough to justify the hype, wages and fee needed to secure him at present - probably why Real are hesitant, if the rumours are true.
Just pains me to think of him going to the rags though, couldn't have imagined it a couple of months ago.
It's worse in the sense that it's all or bust though: either Pogba goes to the rags and Real won't sell Kroos, or Real sign Pogba, the rags miss out and we sign Kroos.
Time will tell though.
ok cheersric thinks Thiago is another option

€75 mill I thought.It's like £200m
Depend, we still need to lose a couple of midfielders to make room, possibly 3,I suppose Thiago is one but we also need to look at what we have, There 's still a chance we could stick with Toure and Nasri. If we don't get Kroos who are the possible alternatives ?

I wasn't suggesting we should go for the one going to southampton. I meant that if bayern lose a midfielder they are less likely to want to lose thiago too
Would of hoped Verrati was on our radar as well.If we don't get Kroos who are the possible alternatives ?

I do not understand why anybody thinks that Thiago would go to Manchester City. There might be journalists who sit in their dark chambers and throw dices for who they write to which club - but there is just no substance to that when it comes to Thiago.
He has a new contract, he stated a couple times that he will stay at Bayern and not follow Pep, Bayern does not have a similar midfielder, the situation of Thiago is totally different to 2013, Pep told that he does not go for a Bayern player... - and Bayern just is not a selling club as long they do not want to get rid of a player. And no - they do for sure not want to get rid of Thiago.
If you want a Bayern player - go for Götze...
No thanks. Not impressed with him. I think Bayern might struggle to match their recent teams. Robben & Ribery ageing. Muller spectacular blow up at EurosI do not understand why anybody thinks that Thiago would go to Manchester City. How do you get him out of Bayern if he has just signed a contract? Why do you think Thiago is not transferable?
Stranger things have happened, and you're very strong in midfield.

He looked thrilled first day back at "work" i look more happy when depressedI get the feeling you don't want to see pogba at the eye gouging arena?
97 million pounds according to Football Manager. This was a rumor based on a "leaked" contract that appeared online. Several news sources dispute it with more sane figures.
For example; the Mirror/Express claim it's £63million. Eurosport claims it would take £75million.
Either which way it's doubtful that it's as high as 200m. Not that I hold that much hope of a run on Kroos of their Pogba plans have gone south, anyway.
