Radio is better than nowt. I'll defo be staying up. Training match or not i've been starved of City matches for too long now. Damn off season. The WC just made it worse ;-D

So how do ya'll reckon we will line up. I'd say something like.

..........................Hart...........................
..........................................................
Richards.....Kompany......Lescott......Bridge
..........................................................
....................Zaba.......Vieira.....................
..............................................................
A Johnson............Ibrahim..............Bellamy
...............................................................
..........................Adebayor.......................

Sheesh. That's team could do some damage in the premier league let alone a training match ;-D

What sort of line-up are we expecting then?

Hart,
Richards, Onouha, Kompany, Bridge,
Johnson, Ireland, Ibrahim, Vieira, Bellamy,
Adebayor?

-- Sun Jul 18, 2010 1:33 am --

I forgot Lescott, probably Ireland for Zaba and spot on, although i'd imagine most get a run out.

You're right, Stevie of course. I can't believe i forgot about him. RM will probably play Stevie behind Ade with Ibrahim on the bench. But yeah you're right. Everybody will probably get a run out. 4-0 City although ofcourse the score couldn't matter less. It's all about fitness and practice.

Many people won't bet on friendlies but for me they can be some of the best betting propositions if you do your research. Unfortunately we are ridiculously short in the betting for this game, 1.21 on Betfair. I wanted to back us around 1.4 but am not touching this price.

That's for a team playing their first pre-season game, without all the world cup players, against a team in mid-season.

Around this time last year Portland drew 2-2 in a friendly with Burnley. I think we'll win but we're unbackable at 1.21.
