Tony Blackburn Sacked By BBC - Sex Probe

It must be reassuring to exist in a world where the judiciary are infallible.

I prefer to make my own mind up, Lord Denning-stylee.
It would be wonderful to have an infallible judiciary I agree, it must be even more wonderful to have a better idea of the truth about documents that I have never read than a judge who has read them.

I'm content that a senior independent High Court Judge has looked at it and thought that if someone who is the subject of it denies any knowledge of it they are likely to be lying.
Is this a fact about a senior HCJ looking at it, or is it an assumption that you're content about? Also, again a HCJ can only have an opinion can he/she not?

I have to say, the fact that Blackburns solicitor allegedly said to Smith something very close to "I suggest you should believe the physical documented evidence presented to you before my client" does damage any defence he [Blackburn] might offer,

I haven't seen them; you haven't seen them. The only difference is, that I've reserved judgement until I've seen it with my own eyes.

There is nothing wrong with accepting the authority of others, otherwise we'd never allow ourselves to be medically operated upon, but I've also got the right to trust my own gut feeling, which tells me Blackburn is telling the truth.
