Tony Blackburn Sacked By BBC - Sex Probe

I haven't seen them; you haven't seen them. The only difference is, that I've reserved judgement until I've seen it with my own eyes.

There is nothing wrong with accepting the authority of others, otherwise we'd never allow ourselves to be medically operated upon, but I've also got the right to trust my own gut feeling, which tells me Blackburn is telling the truth.
I'm not trying to deny you the right to an opinion. Just expressing my own which is that on the evidence presented thus far I think the BEEB had little option other than to sack Blackburn. If other evidence emerges I may change my mind.

How did Jimmy Savile get away with it when so many people appear to have known so much?

Media and Arts Correspondent David Sillito tracks down former presenters, producers and BBC executives who worked with Savile. On the day that the Dame Janet Smith Review is published, some speak publicly for the first time and reveal a shocking list of missed warning signs.

Does anyone have a link to where the full report can be viewed or downloaded? Ive looked around and have nit been successful to date. If the source is "dodgy" you coul PM it.

I did actually watch the entire press conference on BBC News earlier today but feel there us probably much more in the report than was covered in the conference.

Time will tell if I'm correct or not, but I'm inclined to believe Blackburn.

As some have said, the fact that the BBC have waited until today - the day the report is published - before acting upon Tony Blackburn, makes me think that it's merely to deflect publicity away from the BBC and the report, and focus peoples attentions on Tony Blackburn.

Not that it will ever change or amend things that have happened in the past, but I really hope the full truth of all of this comes out

It feels like the truth to me. Who lies, knowing that it will then get themselves into more trouble with their employer?
