Only 3rd for Freddie? Wow. You can say what you want about Queen's music (and many on here do), but I don't think anyone can argue that he was a fantastic singer, and the ultimate showman. It'll be, er, interesting to see who comes in at 1 and 2.

Having watched The Graduate on TV last night, if looking to stay on the music theme maybe best movie soundtrack/song if that's not already been done?

The parameters are you think they're overrated shit and you hate them. The more "popular" the better (and the funnier).

These threads (albums, songs, artists, singers, etc.) have a distinct Smiths/Morrissey taint that infects them, as the ballot stuffers who get them ranked highly have had little resistance. As a non-Manc who loves Manc music I see general positive consensus on most other Manc bands here, but more conflict over that lot (which has led to some very funny posts, both for and against).

This would be a chance for some to get revenge on @Mad Eyed Screamer and his ilk . . . :)

Personally I like those lads musically so I wouldn't be voting for them but plenty have expressed a distinct distaste for them and this would be their opportunity to express that.

I think it would be a lot of fun.

However, @Protein Junkie and @BlueHammer85 and @RobMCFC are our resident pollster crew so I won't be a breakaway republic, especially as PJ posed the question. So I will go with whatever they want and be delighted as always to participate.
