it does to all the fans who buy their records and go to concerts and that's because they are a good band in their opinion, and mine.Being huge does not mean your good.

The Eagles are still touring? Who’s opening for them, Mozart?

To me they're like Green Day, or The Jam -- for some reason I've always found them wanting when it comes to guitar hooks. After "Give It Away" (which has a bass hook and not a guitar hook), I think the best RHCP song is actually their cover of "Love Roller Coaster" by the Ohio Players, which is a problem. And you're talking to a guy who saw them open for Black Flag way back when :).I had a look through the list twice and still couldn't come across Anthony kiedis. I'm really surprised by that as Chilli Peppers are a huge band.
Along with Alison Krauss.
Worth going just to see those two alone
I've never liked Green Day but I was into The Jam from the early days. I don't know much about guitar hooks (fishing hooks yes) but i like their style, especially Flea's baseline. They are band I've liked since the 90s but I haven't really listened to them that much apart from their chart stuff. I think they're got a bit too commercialised for my liking. Good band though i should listen to some more.To me they're like Green Day, or The Jam -- for some reason I've always found them wanting when it comes to guitar hooks. It's funny to think about them as commercial given my first encounter with them was getting the shit kicked out of me in a mosh pit while they played thrash punk wearing nothing but tube socks on their wangs. I retreated to the balcony for Black Flag. I was in a mosh pit for X too that year and then retired from them forever. I couldn't hang! Someone mentioned Dumpy's Rusty Nuts the other day and although I've heard of them i haven't heard them. I went on YouTube to click on a couple of tracks and when I saw them I thought of you and that you will probably know of them and most probably like them ?I'm looking forward to it.
Nice warm-up act the night before too.
