Surprised and pleasantly at Elizabeth Fraser getting 5 voters I had her an number 2 and thought I would be her only supporter as such.

Well done to the others that chose her a brilliant vocalist.

A solid list above with a some good ones still to come.

Liz was one of mine too. As was Susanna Hoffs in this section too.

I saw the same line up at the Milton Keynes Bowl.
Never understood why Teardrop were there.

They were an odd addition. I was a fan, as was my then girlfriend, but Queen still had a large hrd rock fanbase then (The Hot Space album itself killed a lot off though, lol) and the vast majority were certainly not.

if I based my decision on looks ( lets face it we often do in the age of video ) and longevity and song writing ( she has also had a lot of involvement in film music production after her marriage and a film and v career as such ) she would make it but her voice is a tad nasal for my liking and you can't have them all as they say but no doubt a good choice and deserves her place.

I remember a bald head trumpet player with Teardrop Explodes. His foot was in plaster at the time.
Down the front of the stage they were hurling the occasional object at him. Nothing to maim or injure but it kind of underlined how odd it was to have them on the Bill.

Two of mine finally, Sade and Susannah Hoffs.
Both of whom I had a massive crush on.
Sade is way the better singer though. Hoffs the better looking..:)
