I loved a lot of Blondie's singles, and the first time I saw them was on Top of the Pops:



I’m sure you can imagine the effect it had on a hormonal then-15 year old.

However, my favourite Blondie single is Union City Blue.

Good choice! One of my favourites is "Rip her to Shreds." Having recently been made aware of the group Television, you can hear how similar that tune is to some of theirs. Although not surprising when you know they mixed in the same crowd/club etc.

I found out yesterday that she, or rather Altered Images were on, too short notice for me even if tickets were available sadly.

New Altered Images album is on the way apparently, will look forward to that
