Top 6 next season.............?

Top 6 won't be as easy as some think IMO. Everton, Villa and Spurs will be the chief competitors. Who knows how Villa will do after a season of 2 halves. And who knows how Everton will do in terms of buying and selling. But I'm pretty sure Spurs will be a lot better next season. Harry will buy well to add to a decent squad. They have money and London.

IMO we have to spend as if we are going to break the top 4 and allow for possibly being unlucky and making top 6. So we need to spend a fortune.

Who else thinks that the owners are actually thinking top 3, but wont say that in public because of the detrimental added pressure effect it would have on the players and manager.

that would depend on how close we are to signing the "dream targets"

Mark Hughes and the Owners think we can finish top 6 next season... but what makes us special next season from this season?

So surely we must be planning something big for summer if we want to be top 6 next season?

what are your views? and do you think we can be top 6 next season?

To be honest we should be able to finish in the top 6 with the team we have RIGHT NOW.

If all the best 11 were fit every week and we weren't in the UEFA Cup then maybe we would have, although we'd still be lacking a proven/top centre forward and a couple of defenders.

Alot of good points here actually and enjoyed reading through, and thanks for being serious and not insulting eachother guys :P dont like it when city fans argue :P

Ready to read more of your views so please start posting more :)

IMO we won't get top 6 by making 5 good signings, we need 2 world class top players and 3 good players, we've finally managed to get a good balance to the side though, which is a good start, something we've missed alot.

1. Chelsea
2. Man Utd
3. Liverpool
4. Arsenal
5. Tottenham

Fight for 6th between City and Everton......With City getting it obviously

Hard to say atm, it all depends on what happens over the summer, and no european football is going to be a big benefit for a push up the table. One thing for sure, we will dream as ever, and our dreams are closer than they have ever been before... well, in my lifetime anyway.
