Proper blokes dress how they like. And proper blokes don't get in a hissy it over a button.
I like it with certain Polo tops it goes. With others it doesn't.

Serious question - have you always done it?

dont worry about anyone else John, you want to give it whirl then try the look in your bedroom, if you dont like then loose a bit weight....bobs your uncle.

If it's being done in America then you can be sure it'll catch on over here. Don't get it myself, however it's not as bad as those fuckers who turn the collars up on polo shirts - cricketers and nonces are the only people who do that.

I always button my shirts up, that's what they're there for. Nothing wrong with wanting to look smart.

Indeed it is. I have seen a bit of another one as well but not as widespread. A hooded zip jacket with the neck drawstring efforts tied in a bow with the zip open.

^ This though is super gay.

No. It is a recent thing. But then if I was to only ever wear clothes I'd always worn I'd still be in baby grows. It's a fashion thing I guess. Some will like others won't.
As I say it's a certain style of polo that it works with. Some different cuts I think don't suit it.

Dont be worrying about them o's, have you tried the button yet? how did ya go on?

My fat neck doesn't allow for button closure but I do like my polo shirts, well not actually 'polo' by Ralph Lauren, I think they are poor quality, I like the Hackett ones myself.
