Anyone know this: if Liverpool win Europa League, and we finished fourth in the league but did not win the CL, would we still qualify for next season's CL qualifiers?
Ok, thank you for being so helpful.Just checked and you're right but the rules have changed since then and we can definitely get 5 teams in the CL now if the winner is outside the top 4.

Pervert. You are right mate, however, we'd get 5 teams in, if we finished out of the top 4 and won it though.

Taken from SkySports...
UEFA rules stipulate that each association can have a maximum of five clubs in the Champions League for the 2016/17 season, meaning if Manchester City win this season's competition and Liverpool win the Europa League, the fourth-place side will have to drop out, provided Manchester City and Liverpool do not finish in the top four.
