I would have said him, because he was great in his first few months here and was one of the cleverest signings we had made for a while (at the time). But in his second season with us, he was quite poor.

I'd suggest Geovanni maybe, he was only here for a season, didn't play anywhere near enough, when he started games he looked like he might create something and generally looked good.

Andy Cole might be another one, him getting injured seriously hampered any chances we had of having a good season that year he was here. Before he got injured we were looking decent, and he seemed to have a good partnership with Vassell.
