Must confess that I find it really hard to choose just a top ten. Top of the list is easy though because my favourite album has remained unchanged since the late 70's:
Led Zeppelin: Physical Graffiti.
For the purposes of today's list I have allowed only one album per band (otherwise I'd probably just end up with multiple Zep and VH entries) and studio albums only i.e. not live albums or compilations.
Led Zeppelin: Physical Graffiti
David Bowie: Ziggy Stardust
Van Halen: Women and Children First
Aerosmith: Rocks
The Who: Who's next
Kiss: Destroyer
Boston: Boston
Rainbow: Rising
Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here
Fleetwood Mac: Rumours
And here's another ten, any of which might find their way into to the above list on another day:
Queen: Sheer Heart Attack
Rush: Moving Pictures
Bruce Springsteen: Born in the USA
Yes: The Yes Album
Supertramp: Crime of the Century
Starz: Violation
Angel: Sinful
Guns n Roses: Appetite for Destruction
Deep Purple: Machine Head
John Mellencamp: The Lonesome Jubilee
Any list featuring Queen should be automatically removed but your very last choice makes up for it. Love that album, especially through headphones.
