Maybe it is the discrepancy between what I like and what I think should be on the list :-) I almost don't dare admitting it but I love Status Quo. Stone Roses are a very much Marmite band though. You have to be of a certain age to really think they should have any album in any top 10. There really are hundreds of albums that are better than any of their turgid offerings. But hey...one man's meat etc etc.
