I think the key to getting torres, will be gerrard if we can get him then torres will follow suit.

Just my opinion
Torres was/his big target but won't come, but i think Gonzalo Higuain is a major possibility.

We try for Torres, but he won't come
and City get Gago, Higuain from Real
But the only team to say they want Torres is City?
Chelsea said no, basically they are OK in that department.
Real have no chance as Nando wont go there

Yeah i know what your saying, but i think he'll edge his bets, perhaps have a mint world cup trigger interest elsewhere? inter maybe? or stay with pool in the hope they get tookover.

Im with you on that one mate. I know people think Guillem Balague talks cobblers but he reckons Higuain has been offered to us as per below which is on Sky Sports website .( This has probably already been posted on here )

Guillem is Guti really going to Dubai? It seems to me like he could do so much better! Also, where do you think the futures of Higuain and Juan Mata lie? They are two players I really like and would love to see either one at Liverpool, although I think we wouldn't be able to get them unfortunately. James Saxton
GUILLEM SAYS: Right now, James, Guti is pretty much weighing up his options. He wants to enjoy his football. He seems to have the impression that if he can make it to the French League or maybe even the English League that would be better. Yes, he does have an offer from Dubai but he is undecided on what to do. As for Mata, I feel that both Barcelona and Real Madrid will go in for him. Meanwhile, I know Higuain has been offered to Manchester City and Chelsea clearing the way for Cristiano and Benzema to be Real's first-choice strikers. There is the slight feeling that Higuain plays for himself rather than the team. It will be interesting to see how that pans out because if someone offers £30m-£40m I'm sure Real will think about it. Liverpool will just have to look for other targets.
