Torres out for 6 Weeks :)

Thats great news cant see the Dippers getting Torres fully fit for the rest of this season, There in serious trouble if they dont get a top 4 place!

If Torres is out for 6 weeks by the time we play them their confidence will be shot to pieces through all the defeats they will have had.

$th place here we come, just need Defoe to get injured now

Gerrard will miss Stoke away, Spurs at home and Wolves away
Bennayoun will miss those plus Bolton at home, Everton at home and Arsenal away
Torres will miss those plus Unirea at home (Europa) and our game at COMS.

If it strictly sticks to the 2 week, 4 week, 6 week timeframes, it normally strays a bit beyond that.

Big blow for them, if rumours are right that they postponed the Spurs game not because it was dangerous but because they wanted Mascherano to serve his suspension against Reading instead of Spurs they cocked up big time.

I'd steer clear of bidding for him too, he seems too much like RSC where injuries are concerned.
I'd say now is the perfect time to throw in a bid well below market value? He's world class, injuries or not.

having a knee OP. Does this mean he misses game against us?
More than likely, he'd barely be match fit by then.

I'd steer clear of bidding for him too, he seems too much like RSC where injuries are concerned.

Someone mentioned earlier we're much better placed to accomodate someone like Torres, and nurse him through a season. Scousers have been playing him when he should have been rested, or operated on for his last injury.

Doubt he'd come to us though, he seems that type that revels in his new scouseness.

I wanted a draw before, but now i really want Liverpool to beat Spurs. We need our rivals to lose. Come on City! Seize the advantage!
