You do realise that the starting position of the coin influences the actual outcome. There was a study on this a number of years ago and the odds are not 50/50. It’s more likely that a coin will land with the same face on the upwards facing side that was facing upwards before you flipped the coin.
In my youth, reffing on one of Manchester Corpy's mangrove swamps I tossed the coin and it landed on its edge and stuck proudly two-fingering both captains.
