I watched the second half of the NFL game and the pitch from goal to goal looked like a ploughed field. Even if you put a stack of sand on it and run a road roller over the top it's hopeless. Unless they're already replacing the 18 yard wide turf down the centre of the pitch with pre-matted turf secured underneath with plastic pins 2 inches under the playing surface, then there is no chance of the game going ahead tomorrow. Thank goodness it didn't rain or this approach would have no chance either.
If it rains tommorow it will look like a fecking paddy field“The Ballet on Rice “

You joke, but actually we are far more capable of long passes out to the wings from the centre back and switching the play than spurs are, we've used it before, Ederson too is far better at long passing than Loris. As I've posted the worst bit is around the centre the areas and wide areas will be fine.Think we should ditch this tippy tappy stuff and launch it , put Vinnie upfront and Kun to feed off his knockdowns , it works for the Rags ........................errr wait a minute.
Post match thread will be 100 pages if we lose, probably 70 if its a draw, and 27 if we win.At least we will be back to those long matchday threads

I'm pretty sure we are far better equiped than spurs to deal with any problems.
