Think we should ditch this tippy tappy stuff and launch it , put Vinnie upfront and Kun to feed off his knockdowns , it works for the Rags ........................errr wait a minute.

I watched the second half of the NFL game and the pitch from goal to goal looked like a ploughed field. Even if you put a stack of sand on it and run a road roller over the top it's hopeless. Unless they're already replacing the 18 yard wide turf down the centre of the pitch with pre-matted turf secured underneath with plastic pins 2 inches under the playing surface, then there is no chance of the game going ahead tomorrow. Thank goodness it didn't rain or this approach would have no chance either.

It makes you wonder whether it's a cynical sly attempt from spurs to hatch a result against us.
We should never have agreed to it.

You joke, but actually we are far more capable of long passes out to the wings from the centre back and switching the play than spurs are, we've used it before, Ederson too is far better at long passing than Loris. As I've posted the worst bit is around the centre the areas and wide areas will be fine.
I'm pretty sure we are far better equiped than spurs to deal with any problems.

So shit all down the middle & probably shit on the wings as that's where all the players on the touchline stand off the pitch.

This is insane and that pitch is only going to get worse.
Pep should refuse to play and send the squad back up north.
The FA are utter clowns, why did they not select the Emirates as the venue. Wembley is neutral and is not a home ground for spurs it's a makeshift neutral venue. It cannot be classed as "home" and even if that is a mute point, the pitch is not fit for purpose.
City should never have agreed to it and should tell spurs and the FA to stick it.
Disgraceful.

Agree , a few bumps and lumps on a footy pitch shouldnt knock us out of our stride ,in fact players with superior ball control , of which we have an abundance , will excel tomorrow , really looking forward to the game because Spurs will try and bring the game to us , i will jinx it and predict a 3-1 win

What would the FA do if Pep went out and took one look at the pitch and said no were not playing on that.
