Tottenham are better than us.

pmsl. we are leagues ahead of them, they have a couple of players and a lot of luck. they have no depth and should we want to we could buy ANY of their players to weaken them.

This one is quite amusing it must be said. I understand city fans will think theyr better than spurs and vice versa but this is pure ignorance at best. As far as players we'd want from city i do suggest we'd only take joe hart, adam johnson and tevez (FYI).

Spurs have a tremendous amount of squad depth and thats how we've played most of this season without our number 1 option pair of centre backs and with our only decent striker injured.

I doubt many city fans (even the most dilluded) would scoff at the prospect of having modric, Bale and VDV strutting their stuff in light blue.

I would have to say in all fairness both squads are very strong...stronger than indeed man utd, chelsea and arsenal...thats why this year will be the tightest yet. The major difference between city and spurs (other than the money) is the way in which the teams set out to play and i dare say more city fans will be infuriated by some of the draws they have than we will about some of the losses. We go all out to ur all back and behind the ball.

Neway it would be nice to speak to some level headed fans. this thread was brought to my attention. Only had to go as far as page 1 to find the first looney...i guess every fanbase has them. Still dissapointing to see someone so dilluded. I hope this mindset doesn't become all man city fans that they start to think they are better just because they can buy better than most.

An example of a post that might get through, though I suggest even this poster doesn't push his luck.

A.Johnson but not Silva? Whatever floats your boat.

What is it with fans of other clubs rating AJ higher than most blues while decrying many of our better players as overrated? That's some irony right there (not that I'm for one minute saying AJ is shite, but he's not the finished article and HAS clearly been overrated - or at least prematurely rated - by the press)

I think it must be because he is English and so the press have put out this view that he's one City player it's ''okay'' to like. Albeit with a widely taken-up option to lambast us at the same time for apparently not playing him enough, even though if he was a United or a to a certain extent Arsenal player it'd be ''genius Fergie/Wenger bedding him in slowly'' etc.

Well....I'm very disapointed with you Mr De niro as I was really enjoying Mr Manilo's educated views. What a truly wonderful insight he has into the business mind of Sheik Mansour.

So much so I could of sworn that it was indeed Mr Kaldoon typing those wise words.

Shame on you Mr D.

What a cock he made of himself LOL!!

-- Mon Nov 29, 2010 7:17 pm --

while Silva is good we have players in modric and kranjkar who can play such a role already. why would we want millions of pounds worth of waste of talent? (u guys wana buy bentley by any chance)

AJ is far from the finished article but he can play either side, has bags of pace and likes to get the ball in the box. Although he wouldn't make our first team especially with the form of bale and now lennon, and especially with the fact he is classed as homegrown talent, i would like to see him at spurs.

Obv Joe Hart is the dogs bollocks. He would piss all over gomes the useless feck of a clown.

Why are the Spurs fans on here saying, "We're just defending our club"?

Look on 95% of football forums, majority of journalists, pundits, players and ex-professionals. If you do this then you'll see that City get slagged off something rotten everyday for naff all, but do you see all us lot going on there spouting shit? No we try to take it on the chin.

You just wanted to come on here to gloat and you're bemused by the fact that most City fans don't like you because we don't read into this Harry Redknapp lovefest the media have created.

I think its got a little bit more to it than the media lovefest for Redknapp.

As for gloating about Liverpool, they should join the queue that includes Blackpool.
