Mahrez for me, I also thought Foden was excellent in the first half, ferno, cancelo, walker, Ruben and Kev all played well, Sterling worked really hard did some good stuff, but just fluffed his lines in terms of finishing. Amazing to win the league cup again! My favourite cup competition !!!

Cancelo for me. As you say he has been very poor by this season’s standards since the international break but superb at both ends of the pitch todayAfter awful falling off a cliff, runs of form, I thought both Cancelo and Sterling were excellent today.

I voted for Kyle just for the runs he makes. The lad could be in the British Olympic team if he wasn’t such a good footballer. Love him picking up the bottle with his medal as well. But I was torn between him, Mahrez, Laporte and Sterling.

I’m still bemused as to how a shot Mahrez had in the second half which Lloris saved down to his right, managed to go out for a corner and back onto the pitch to Sterling

Gundogan completely bossed the midfield,he dictated the entire pace of the game,controlled possession and kept us ticking brilliantly.
Always an outstanding footballer but he never looked a city player, until earlier in the season.Mahrez's touch and control is something to behold. His shooting and decision making not so much.
I'd probably lean towards Dias today just because of the air of calm he brought to the proceedings.
There wasn't a poor player wearing blue on the pitch today though.
He is now in such good form he is becoming undroppable, his quality today was outstanding.
