I think Pep has confirmed Steffen will start and will probably rotate. Difficult one but as a trophy is at stake I'd like to see (assuming Steffen starts) Walker, Dias, Laporte, Zinky; Fern, Rodri; Gundog, Bernie, Foden, Mahrez. Probably a bit harsh on Jesus but I think Rodri could be effective pushing forward late amongst the skilful 'attacking' midfielders
Jesus will definitely start as he only played 45 mins on Weds. Am expecting Fernandinho to start too. Otherwise, he picks our strongest team and this time uses the five subs available. If so, we can win the trophy and avoid a serious defeat in Paris.

There are no guarantees in anything ... but a stronger team has more chance of winning than losing ... and a weakened team has ... oh well, haven't we seen enough of them against Leeds and Chelsea just recently?

Well said mate, Its mad imo to get to a final and not field our strongest team. Especially with what we have seen recently like you say.

It’s a cup final so we play our strongest team. Same team as last night bar Laporte for Stones and Ferna in to give Rodri a rest I wouldn’t do it but I think he’ll rest Walker to be fresh for PSG.

Save the misfiring yet speedy Sterling and Torres for extra time if need be when legs and minds are tired.

Play the strongest side. It's a final. What's the point of making it to the final just to throw it all away?

Never mind the arrogance in acting as if a cup final is beneath us now. We would've killed to get anywhere near a final just a decade ago.

Worry about PSG on Monday. Right now that shouldn't be in anyones minds. This is the only focus.

Also - and I cannot stress this enough - fuck Spurs.

All I want, all I've EVER wanted is to beat Spurs in a Cup Final. After the trauma of that fucking Ricky Villa snatching away a deserved FA cup when I was an impressionable lad, I just want cold, hard REVENGE!!

Pep, if you are reading this, do an old Legacy Fan a favour and beat them like they stole something from you. Cheers.

Pep's on to a hiding whatever team he picks, that I know.

I'm not sure where I stand on it, but Pep is likely to make a few changes. He has been heavily rotating ALL season (not just recently, and it's got us this far. One thing I can presume is that Pep has a significant amount more faith in certain players than many on here do, rightly or wrongly.

But leeds and the semi and we lost both, they can get injured in training , they need rythm and playing together , a couple of changes but that should be it

I agree with that, i think he'll start Sterling too.
Pep can akso use 5 subs for the PSG game, so i would expect the strong line-ups in both games and sub as and when

Steffan

Walker
Dias
Laporte
Zinchenko

Bernardo
Fernandinho
Gundogan

Sterling
Jesus
Foden
