Although you could probably have predicted that something along these lines would happen , this does sound like yet another bad attack on english fans ..... funny how these cowardly italian yobs never try this sort of thing in England , where they find themselves outnumbered.

Ten Spurs fans injured is a significant amount , and something positive needs doing to eradicate the problem , although it will no doubt prove to be very difficult (or drastic) ....... but anything up to 100 masked italian ultras shouldn't be allowed to just get away with causing incidents such as this , it's wrong , and the cops , at least , appear to have arrested a few of them.

Maybe the answer is to simply ban fans of clubs like Napoli , Roma and Lazio from travelling to european games , and ban foreign fans from travelling there ..... can't really see any other way of stopping it.

Make Lazio play all their European games away.

But nothing will be done to stop this sort of thing happening again.

I hope the lads get well soon, however it might be bollox, it might not, it could be any bunch of right wing nutters that fancied a pop. Could just as easily be Roma fans trying to give their neighbours a bad name. If you weren't there, you can't know, and even those who were there might not really know.

Football fans that travel abroad to watch their clubs should be safe from this shit, but we do also have a responsibility to look after ourselves, I think anyone who visits Rome or Naples etc needs to be very careful, and should probably stick to hotel bars, and popular places.
