This is a joke really. Orient did the responsible thing and got their players tested and have now lost their place in the cup as result.
Hull decline testing against West Ham and game goes ahead.
So lower league clubs who choose not to test and potentially play games with infected players are getting a better deal than those who agree to get tested. This only incentivises cash strapped clubs to take risks.
alternatively, PL clubs are now offering testing which conveniently comes back with a bunch of positive tests forcing a cancellation, allowing them to progress not on merit and free up their schedules.
Both teams should have been knocked out for failing to fulfil the fixture and give the bye to a team that actually qualified for the next round.
