Tottenham | Post-Match Thread | 4 League Cups In A Row!

Even madder when you think that one final was the season they played Madrid four times in two weeks, in the league, in the champions league, and in the cup final, and they won the league and CL but didn't win that match. That was the season that absolutely broke Mourinho, and Pep is still hoovering up trophies for fun.

Yeah i remember that match in the Spanish cup final. It was EXACTLY like ManCity - Leeds of last week with Barcelona creating 30 chances, having 80 % possession of the ball and Real M. with 2 chances to score 1 goal and winning.

Bbc national evening news at 10.
'The winners was scored by Laporte.... who many thought should have not been on the pitch due to cynical fouls'.
BBC spreading the Neville and Tyler message for them but who are the 'many'? Doesn't matter - the lies are in the public domain and will be treated as Gospel. No mention of St Harrys screams of agony to try and get advantage or the repeated fouls of Lo Celso
Just remembered something else 'stopped by Fernandinho with one of his tactical fouls'. 70 yards from goal and more of an obstruction with little comment.
I wonder if anyone at BBC news actually watched.

In 1981 I took my wife and two boys (aged 3 and 7 weeks) to Wembley for the cup final. We were there the day before the game and went to the stadium ( as we staying at the Wembley Hilton) for an afternoon stroll. Tv crews were setting up and all the access doors were wide open, so, in we went. We walked, with a toddler and a baby, all round the inside of Wembley, including the Royal box without anyone challenging us. The following day I attended the game whilst the wife went shopping. The result of that game, and the subsequent replay is well documented (I attended the replay on my own) but I swore, after the replay, to my lads that one day we will have our revenge.
My lads are now long time season ticket holders (30+ years) and today we all watched the game in my garden. I reminded them, before the game, of my promise in 1981.
It has taken a long time coming but watching today with my sons was an honour and pay back to Steve *ucking Archibold, Ossie Ardiles and especially, Ricky *ucking Villa. Revenge is sweet, Thank You City, I’ll sleep tonight.
