Just so pleased. Thoroughly deserved and I think for those of us who were at Wembley in 81 there is an added and much belated sense of joy to 'even the score'. Envy those blues who were there today! And the rags dropping points a bonus. Brilliant day.
Arguably our greatest performance in a cup final.Get in there!
Another trophy, do we get to keep the League Cup now?
Great performance!
Me too.Forty years I have waited for this revenge. Scouse cunts, rags, Chelsea X 2 and Arsenal all done in big games. I will die happy. Never forgiven corrupt FA for 81 replay ticketing/venue. Fuck them all.
Woods can hit the target, in our forward line scoring goals would be like shelling peas. Unless you think our forwards are brilliant at converting chances? Obviously I'm not comparing him to Haaland but tell me what is bad about Woods?
Someone else posted last week about heartbroken as a child when we lost that cup final. I was too. Its the little things in lifeJust so pleased. It's my favourite cup competition, brings back so many great memories, so happy we have won it again!!I keep hearing that no one other than us take this cup seriously yet four of our last five wins have been against the dippers, Arsenal, Chelsea and Spurs and we have beaten the filth twice in the semi finals.
I am so glad we take this competition very seriously !
Fernandinho winning this cup 6 times is in the words of Pep “incredible”
