I think he just realised pretty quick that he was sold a lie and duped into going there (as was Mourinho), and realised pretty quick that while Levy is in charge Spurs are completely unfixable.

People look at us and think it's about throwing money around, but we have a fantastic set up behind the scenes and it contributes to the overall success. Brighton, Fulham, god even Southampton have a better reputation.
It seems like Levy's dirty mits are all over the club interfering in many areas. I thought I heard some percieved slight at the 'owner' in all that.

Conteh has described Spuds to a tee, they are under achieving , shandy drinking lightweights , they beat us one week and get battered by Leicester a week later , take Kane out of that team and they are mid table fodder.
Levy is a tight arse ,he has had some really good managers and they leave because he will not release the purse strings , he is more bothered about having a nice stadium than the dross that represents them on the pitch, Spuds will never change , mediocrity is there motto.
