It was four months before I was born, so no, I have never seen Spurs win the league.
We were singing this to some gobby Spurs fans just before we went in on Thursday.
I'm nearly 50 and never seen it either, one of my mates is 64 and was 3.
One Spurs fans pointed at my mate and said he probably had as it was 1961, fair play it was quite funny but they hate it and it shuts them up every time.
For a club that hasn't won the league for 62 years, the FA Cup for 32 years or a trophy of any description for 15 years they're certainly a gobby bunch.

Solid squad and physically powerful enough to be in the top four, yet it’s now over ten years since Modric left and in all that time I don’t think they’ve had any genuine creativity in the centre of the park. We’ve shown that you can get by without a left back and be successful, but I just don’t see how you can win anything without midfield nous, which is why their best player has to drop ever deeper to compensate.

When you look back at the calibre of some of the players they've had at one time or another, going all the way back to the early 1960's, that is quite some under-achievement: to have won the grand sum of fuck all in 60 years with the money they've accumulated (granted, millions and millions went into Twitcher's private account -allegedly!).

It's funny for the rest of football, but it must be quite humiliating for the Spurs fans who have spent all their lives paying for but not receiving a few trophies.

We were saying exactly this on Thursday.
Spurs were one of the main instigators behind the formation of the Premier League (part of what was called the Big 5 back in the day with the two arse cheeks, Everton Arsenal) and the monetization of football.
When Sky came in, you needed a set top box (and satellite dish) to receive a feed and one of the main providers of these boxes was Amstrad who just happened to be owned by Alan Sugar, go figure.
Turned out well for them so far hasn't it!
I remind Spurs fans of this whenever they woman about our spending.

On Thursday night Tyler was banging on about Kane chasing the record of Shearer's. He said forwards dont care about winning trophies it's all about scoring.

I thought that's abit odd is he saying Kane is only interested in winning personal trophies and not team trophies.

It's a weird thing to say, pretty sure he'd swap all those goals for a trophy or two in a heartbeat!

Seems a perfectly legit conclusion to me.
